I view my mission as a service to local and global communities of students through facilitating intentional, creative, and relevant, coursework.
I like to include a variety of tools in this facilitation such as technology, self-reflection, and creative art projects. I believe that coaches are role models. A good coach empowers each student to reach the highest potential.
All students are not created equal; coaches must challenge their students in different ways and adapt to their learning styles, personality, and values. My coaching style helps students move towards thinking independently and I hold them accountable for their learning. This encourages growth and invites students to discover unknown interests. |

In my experience, sadly, most students are not asked about the things that bring them joy, hope, and purpose. Hidden strengths are discoverable in all students if one simply asks! In my coaching programs I facilitate activities to give attention to the spark that lives with each student. When that is nurtured there is an increase in excitement and enthusiasm about the present and the future.
